Excellent tool to establish the connection between the keys on the piano and the notes on the grand staff.
Blue - High Treble Notes
Yellow- Treble Notes
Red- Bass Notes
Green- Low Bass Notes
Color Coding the notes on the Grand Staff has made learning notes so much easier! My students love this!
I start using a blank Grand Staff Board. I like to start with the treble (yellow) notes, then the Bass (red) notes. After student is successful placing tiles correctly on these registers, we then learn the High Treble and Low Bass Registers. When they are proficient in knowing all the notes on the Grand Staff I then have student place the tiles on all the C's , D's, E's, etc. This tool has been amazing at helping students make the connection between the keys on the piano and the location of notes on the Grand Staff!
